First Baby Purchase

I got these as a surprise for Beto. Anyway, boy or girl, he or she will be set to be a little Barça baby. Our cute onesies arrived from Spain on the weekend!

Almost 13 Weeks

Quite obviously, I was not meant to be a "blogger." I'm TERRIBLE at this. Ha! After my last post, I completely forgot that I had even started a blog. :) Oops!

Anyway, here I am, back again. I will be 13 weeks tomorrow. Yay! Time is flying by - I'm almost done with the first trimester!!

We had an appointment on the 18th of this month. It went well. Beto got to come with this time. There was no ultrasound, but we did get to hear our baby's heartbeat. So that was exciting for him. It was nice and strong - 169 bpm!

I feel sooooo blessed. This first trimester has been a breeze. I had like one week that I didn't feel well (and it wasn't even that bad), and the rest of the time, I haven't even felt pregnant! It's been so smooth.

My cousin, Rachel, has been visiting for the week from California, so that has kept me busy. I'm glad for that. I'll try to figure out again how to post a picture, so that I can post some of the ones we took together this week.

Our Baby's First Picture - 7 Weeks, 1 Day

We're Expecting!!

So - Big News! I'm 9 weeks pregnant!

We found out on February 5th, when we were in Austin, Texas for a friend's wedding. It was very exciting. We couldn't wait to get back home to take some more tests, to be absolutely POSITIVE of our circumstances! Ha! So we did just that. We arrived home, and Albert went out and bought two more tests, that both resulted positive. So then I scheduled an appointment with the Dr. I went on Wednesday, February 18th, and it was a GREAT first appointment! They did an ultrasound, where I not only saw our little bean, but heard and saw the heartbeat. Was so awesome! God is AWESOME! We were a little sad because Albert couldn't come with me to the appointment because of work, but oh well. I brought home the pictures to show him.

None of this quite seems real yet. Regardless, we are excited, thankful, and trusting God for a healthy baby and smooth pregnancy!
